Marriage Ring "en" & Engagement Ring "Rough Diamond" Order
At our Aoyama store, we received an order for bridal rings from a lovely couple.
The wedding rings they chose are from the "en" collection, which symbolizes encounters and eternal connections. Both are Pt900 with a hairline finish, and they ordered a pair of en-L and en-MD. The simple round shape of the design is infused with each of their feelings.
The engagement ring is made of rare rough diamonds that are hard to find even at MONAKA. The prong setting highlights the natural look of the stone, and the arm diamond design adds a special touch. All of the materials are made of platinum.
The reason for the visit was that the customer was traveling from far away.
For their first visit, they made a reservation at our Aoyama store to coincide with their trip.
She had seen it many times on Instagram and was drawn to the en-MD with its star-like sparkle and "four-light setting," which prompted her to visit the store. "The more I look at it, the more I'm drawn to it..." she said with a laugh, which left a strong impression on me.
Additionally, while searching for rough stones and diamonds with inclusions, she discovered MONAKA, and we also helped her with engagement rings.
As they had not yet decided on plans for their marriage registration etc., we gave them an estimate and sent them off with the advice to "please take your time to consider it."
The "Fateful Timing" of Rough Diamonds
Shortly after their visit, the designer had just returned from New York where he had purchased a large number of rare rough diamonds, when the customer contacted us saying that she had a business trip to Tokyo and would like to visit the store again.
It was as if it was fate, and all the staff were secretly thrilled...!
In fact, she wasn't particularly interested in engagement rings at first. "The idea of a sparkly, brilliant-cut engagement ring just didn't suit my taste... I had told him I didn't want one."
However, after seeing MONAKA jewelry, her feelings changed and she thought, "If there's a design that I can wear on a daily basis, it might be okay," and she said, "If I find a loose stone that I like, I'd like to consider ordering one."
Second visit, time to choose a ring
Since she normally wears silver-colored jewelry, she had no hesitation in selecting Pt900 for both the wedding and engagement rings.
For the wedding ring, the couple tried out a few materials, including K18WG, but ultimately decided on the same material. They also added a single diamond setting to the inside of the en-L that matches the en-MD. It's a special diamond that can't be seen from the outside, but only the two of them know about it. It was like a secret bond.
For the engagement ring, we prepared a variety of unique diamonds, including freshly purchased rough diamonds, rose cut diamonds, and loose diamonds with inclusions. The couple carefully narrowed down their options from the many available and discussed their choices together, creating an unforgettable experience for the staff.
The finished ring and delivery date
Several months after the order was placed, the couple's wedding schedule was decided, and we put our heart and soul into tailoring the dress so that it would arrive in time for the day they met.
The finished engagement ring features a smoky brown gemstone that blends with the brilliance of platinum, creating a sharp and sophisticated finish that is special enough to be an engagement ring. The designer and staff all gave it rave reviews.
The soft starry sky-like en-MD wedding ring and the raw stone engagement ring that makes the most of natural beauty create an exquisite contrast, making this the perfect combination for the two of you.
Thank you for your kind comments and your kind consent to publishing the article.
Because you live far away, the ring will be delivered by courier. I was nervous because I couldn't see your reaction in person,
"It's even cuter than I expected and I'm super excited! But more than anything, I like him more (lol)."
We received such wonderful feedback and all the staff breathed a sigh of relief.
When we asked about introducing it on the [Customer Blog],
"MONAKA is known for its gold and mixed colors, so I hope that this all-platinum ring will be an inspiration for others."
He readily agreed. Thank you very much.
For those considering loose orders
MONAKA Bridal's loose order engagement ring is a semi-custom order that allows you to freely combine existing designs with stone settings and arm designs. It may seem a little daunting, but we will guide you through it in a relaxing space, comparing products with each other.
"We want to create a ring that is unique to us."
