Being in charge of this project and seeing the endless smiles on the faces of the couple as they made their choice was a time filled with happiness for me as well.
Each time he visited our store six times, he asked me, "Is there anyone else who has visited so many times over such a long period of time?" When I told him that this was the first time in my 10 years in this job, he replied, "I thought so (laughs)."
I was secretly happy to have that conversation and that they had that first opportunity .
Over the past year, I've probably spent more time with him than with friends I rarely get to see, and I've come to realize that those times have become so precious that I take them for granted.So when the day of delivery finally arrived, even though it was a happy milestone, I felt a bit lonely.
