About option diagrams
In addition to the design of each wedding ring,
Diamond engraving options are available to further enhance originality.
By adding your own personal touch to the ring you have chosen, it will become a personal wedding ring that will be a memory just for the two of you.
MONAKA jewelry offers three types of carved diamond settings: "Flush setting," "Four-light setting," and "Eight-light setting." Accurate setting requires the skills of a skilled craftsman, and each setting is carefully carved and set by hand by a skilled artisan.
- Hidden -
A small hole is drilled into the metal part of the ring, and the diamond is set in place without any claws, so it is set flush into the metal.
Unlike the common method of setting with prongs, this setting has less protrusion on the surface of the ring and is less likely to get caught on anything. It has a clean look and is a simple setting that allows you to feel the brilliance of the diamond in a subtle way.
- Four-light clasp -
This is a carving setting method that uses a chisel with a tip that can carve like a carving knife to carve around the stone, causing the raised metal to act as claws in place.
The four-light clasp, which has a design that looks like light is shining through it, is also incorporated into the design of en-MD/en-LD.
The design is established as a focal point, and the four surrounding claws sparkle subtly.
- Eight-light clasp -
The fastening method is the same as the four-light fastening method, but it is a fastening method that creates a gorgeous look and is also called a halo fastening.
Hachiko-dome The design makes it look like light is shining through, making the diamond appear more prominent.
The eight-light clasp is only available in kumo. It is possible to engrave it.

Diamonds can be engraved into the inside or outside of wedding rings.
Please note that there are some designs and types that we cannot accommodate.
